Inside Parker Posey’s Eclectic Real Estate Portfolio

Parker Posey is having a moment. Fresh off stealing scenes (and spawning viral memes) as the delightfully loopy Victoria Ratliff in HBO’s latest season of The White Lotus, Posey has once again reminded us why she’s Hollywood’s undisputed indie queen.

Her impeccable comedic timing isn’t her only talent—her real estate game is equally strong. Turns out, she’s got a knack for picking charming homes. From artsy downtown lofts to charming country escapes, each home comes with its own personality, flair, and just the right amount of delightful unpredictability—much like her on-screen characters.

So before you dive into another The White Lotus Reddit thread or attempt your best Posey impression (we’ve all tried), take a peek inside the homes the actress has called her own.

Posey’s first notable real estate splash was a quintessential East Village co-cop situated atop a historic 1845 brownstone at 119 East 10th Street. This one-bedroom loft-like apartment featured everything you’d expect from an indie icon’s home: soaring wood-beamed ceilings, original wide-plank floors, and exposed brick walls.

But it wasn’t all vintage—Posey updated the pad with modern amenities including a wood-burning fireplace and a renovated kitchen and bath. The apartment occupied the entire top floor of the building, and boasted fellow indie darling Chloë Sevigny as a neighbor.

Posey parted ways with this charming spot in 2008 for $1.3 million, and in 2017, the keys were passed along to none other than actor Alexander Skarsgård for $2.3 million. After some renovations of his own, Skarsgård resold the place in 2022 for approximately $2.5 million.

In 2008, Posey moved westward—just slightly—to Greenwich Village, snagging a stylish one-bedroom co-op at 30 Fifth Avenue for $1.35 million. It was compact yet chic: 800 square-feet of built-in bookshelves, dark walls, and patterned backsplashes.

The apartment opened into a foyer before leading into a spacious living room complete with three walk-in closets (a Manhattan miracle), original hardwood floors, and an irresistible window seat. Posey herself notably appeared in listing photos lounging casually in bed with her beloved pup Gracie—a savvy marketing move that clearly paid off: she listed the home in 2016 for $1.45 million and secured a buyer within two months.

Hudson Valley Farmhouse

Us city dwellers always need an escape route—and for Posey, that meant heading north to Ghent, New York. In 2007 (just before her Greenwich Village move), she purchased a dreamy 19th-century farmhouse from fellow actress Tatum O’Neal for approximately $650,000. Situated on roughly 16 lush acres along the Hudson River, this home included not only a rustic barn, but a pool, pond, gazebo, stone smokehouse, and plenty of room to breathe.

She still owns this home; the property’s value hovers around $950,000 on Zillow—but let’s be honest—tranquility is priceless.

Posey couldn’t resist another Manhattan adventure in 2019 when she scooped up a whimsical Chelsea triplex at 365 West 19th Street for $1.495 million. Nestled within a classic brownstone facade dating back to 1910—with artistic flourishes by designer Robert Ostro—this home was the epitome of charm: double-height ceilings framed by exposed brick walls, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and a spiral staircase leading up to a skylit primary suit complete with a clawfoot tub and a private rooftop terrace.

Posey affectionately described this home as her “birdhouse with a nest on top.” Alas, all good things must end; she sold this gem in 2023 for nearly $1.7 million after initially listing it at just under $2 million.
