A Peek Into Greg-Gary’s Over-the-Top Villa in White Lotus

While we’ve seen Greg-Gary’s super-massive yacht that several White Lotus guests have spent time on, we have only seen glimpses of his swanky villa out of the hotel. With word of a party in next week’s episode, we’re sure to find out. Here’s a peek into his not-so-humble abode.

The house is actually two locations framed as one. First, the villa was filmed at Samujana Villa 12, a contemporary house on Koh Samu. It features seven bedrooms, a luxurious open roof terrace, and a private long swimming pool on the face of the hill, punctuated by six custom built in-water pool loungers.

The second location is at Villa Amaravida Phuket (most of what has been shown in the series so far was filmed here), including an open-air living room where Greg-Gary Googled Belinda, and an open roofdeck where he uses the infinity pool. It’s a line of 26 villas that go for $5,698 to $13,650 a night, located on a 60-acre gated compound on Cape Yamu, a peninsula that reaches into the gulf. At the villa that stands in for Greg-Gary’s spot, one can enjoy all of eight bedrooms, two pools, a hot tub on the roof, a wine room, golf course, and private beach. Also seven full-time staffers will be at your beck and call, naturally.

Villa Amaravida Phuket opened in 2008 under the direction of Adrian Zecha, the man behind Amanpuri. It went into construction at a time of great turbulence in Thailand (following a 2004 tsunami and a 2006 military coup) and was dubbed by the South China Morning Post as the “development of the moment.” And once completed, it’s not hard to see why: sliding glass doors open to views of tropical coastlines and infinity pools. Not to mention access to a pristine, man-made beach, and ample amenities like a gym, cinema room, and a private spa. If covertly arranging your wife’s murder doesn’t gnaw at your conscience, this is pure paradise.
