On the heels of Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex recently revealed a window into the making of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, through an Instagram post featuring a photoshoot in the backyard of her Montecito home. “This is our week @aseverofficial,” the caption reads. “BTS from the shoot at my house.”
When you aren’t oohing and aahing over her cute rescue dog, Mia, who is jumping onto the arm of Meghan’s chair, you might be wondering how she curated her effortlessly elegant backyard dining setup. Meghan is seated in one of six white oak Jenni Kayne Montecito Dining Chairs surrounding a table that’s topped with a basic white linen tablecloth. A matching beige umbrella not unlike Rejuvenation’s 9-inch Round Aluminum Umbrella, oversees the setup, which is composed of white china topped with fruit and artisanal treats. In a prior image on her grid, we see the same display with a decorative marble tray (we’re betting it’s from Perigold) and a champagne coupe glass not unlike Ralph Lauren’s Ethan Champagne Glass.
The As Ever brand, launched earlier this year on March 4, is a comprehensive brand that encompasses everything from home goods to face serums to food products. “‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been,’” Meghan said in an Instagram video shared on February 18. “If you’ve followed me since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me. This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language—beautifully weaving together everything I cherish: food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.”
The backyard setup is the latest peek behind the curtain of the Sussex’s lives, which has been increasingly on display on her new Instagram account. We’ve gotten glimpses into her favorite tableware, at-home moodboard, and Montecito home backyard.
