Interior Design Duo Salvesen Graham’s Debut Book Redefines Timeless Design

In addition to a compendium of interiors projects, Salvesen Graham offer time-honored tips and practical design advise in their debut book, A New English Style.

While paging through A New English Style, I paused at a drawing room in Cornwall—walls cloaked in mossy green, a silk lampshade casting the gentlest glow. It reminds me of that intoxicating feeling one gets of being in a beloved space, where comfort and beauty coexisted effortlessly. Nicole Salvesen and Mary Graham capture this magic throughout the book, balancing patina with polish. Their timeless, “future heritage” style is a masterclass in living beautifully, not trendily.

In every project, from a London townhouse to a Craftsman home in Colorado, their work invites quiet reflection and a slower pace of living. Layered textiles, timeworn woods, and bursts of thoughtful color speak not to fleeting trends, but to spaces meant to be cherished for generations. Their rooms feel both collected and completely current—a rare alchemy. A New English Style isn’t just the chicest Pinterest board come to life; it’s a blueprint for cultivating warmth, elegance, and enduring soul at home.

Designed for layering, these 300-thread count sheets, woven in Portugal from GOTS® certified cotton, invite a balance of comfort and conscious living—perfect for any bedroom sanctuary, whether an urban loft or a coastal cottage.

Pattern, Plate, and Panache: Peter Dunham Joins Forces with Hudson Grace

Hudson Grace unveils a spirited new collaboration with Los Angeles-based interior designer Peter Dunham, a creative pairing born from a mutual love of bold color, pattern, and the poetry of a well-set table. The 62-piece collection reimagines Dunham’s iconic textiles—steeped in European charm and global wanderlust—across Hudson Grace’s signature tabletop essentials. Think Italian hand-painted plates, block-printed linens, and vessels that feel both worldly and warmly familiar. It’s a collection made not for museum shelves but for real, joy-filled gatherings.

For Hudson Grace founder Monelle Totah, the collaboration is deeply personal: “Peter’s layered, fearless aesthetic has long inspired me. We both believe in pieces that are timeless, textured, and never too perfect.” Dunham echoes the sentiment, describing the partnership as “organic,” and reflecting on the unique connection between two fellow shopkeepers. “Shopkeepers are business-minded and visionary,” he says. “Monelle is a brilliant merchandiser. She enjoys her work and it shows in the brand. To keep a shop interesting, you have to love to merchandise and be passionate about the stuff you sell. You have to have a vivid imagination and play the role of your clients. I think we both get that.” The result is a richly edited collection that invites relaxed elegance—made to mix, match, and, above all, entertain.

Let There Be (Rechargeable) Light: Pooky x The Novogratz Illuminate the Outdoors with Color and Charm

Rechargeable and radiant, the Stefan lanterns cast a warm glow—proof that outdoor lighting can be as joyful as the interiors they echo.

With summer on the horizon, Pooky Lighting unveils a spirited new collaboration with The Novogratz—a bold foray into the world of rechargeable outdoor lighting. The 14-piece collection reimagines alfresco illumination through a lens of saturated color, playful silhouettes, and untethered functionality. From jute-wrapped pendants to petite lanterns in blush, moss, denim, and sand, the pieces reflect a shared reverence for color, craftsmanship, and the joy of gathering outdoors, sans cords and plugs.

The partnership, born from mutual admiration and a love of design that blurs indoors and out, brings together Pooky’s technical finesse with The Novogratz’s exuberant, mid-century style. Hero pieces like the Stefan lanterns and Talulah basket pendants anchor the collection with a sculptural presence, while mirrors, sconces, and candlelight accents round out the collection. What’s most striking, perhaps, is the chromatic confidence perfectly suited to a backdrop of greenery and natural landscape.

The Maximalist’s Match: Nickey Kehoe x House of Hackney

Benjamin Reynaert

An XL vitrine at the East 10th Street Nickey Kehoe boutique cleverly displays pieces from their new capsule collection in collaboration with House of Hackney.

In a spirited meeting of American craftsmanship and British eccentricity, the new collaboration between Nickey Kehoe and House of Hackney delivers a richly layered collection that feels both storied and refreshingly new. Known for their soulful interiors and a reverence for the well-made, Nickey Kehoe bring their earthy, tactile sensibility across the pond to House of Hackney’s maximalist universe—where moody florals, folkloric motifs, and deep, saturated hues reign. The result is a collection that’s as comfortable in a rambling English country house as it is in a California craftsman: think hand-blocked textiles, antique-inspired upholstery and a really good classic cabana stripe. It’s heritage with a wink—and just enough attitude to keep things in an interior interesting.
