Taylor Swift recently made one of the biggest announcements of her career—and she did it the old-fashioned away. On May 30, she revealed that she successfully bought back the master rights to all of her first six albums from Shamrock Capital, ending a years-long battle for ownership of her work.
Swift chose an intimate, intentional approach and announced the news with a handwritten letter on her signature personalized stationery, posted directly to her website.
She’s long been a champion of personalized stationary, famously writing thank you notes to fans and fellow artists on her custom letterhead. “How many times in our lives are we required to put pen to paper anymore? There’s something romantic and sort of lost about it,” she told Esquire in 2014. “I like things you can touch and things you can keep, because every bit of communication we have is ephemeral in nature.”
Sophisticated and personalized stationery is the quiet luxury of snail mail. Ready to channel Swift’s approach to important communications? Here are some of our favorite stationery options.
