Mick Jagger’s Swinging 1960s Party Pad Hits the Market

A slice of rock history is up for grabs in central London. Mick Jagger’s former Marylebone residence—where the Rolling Stones frontman hosted a glittering guest list in the late 1960s—is now on the market for £5.5 million (approximately $7 million).

The stylish apartment, located on the fourth floor of Harley House near Regent’s Park, was Jagger’s base during the band’s meteoric rise. He took up residence in 1966 and remained until 1968, when he purchased a home in Belgravia. The listing is jointly handled by Beauchamp Estates and Prime London.

British rock group the Rolling Stones start a custard pie fight in the Elizabethan Room at the Gore Hotel, Kensington, 5th December 1968. It’s one of many parties Mick Jagger enjoyed.

While living there, Jagger was romantically involved with singer Marianne Faithfull, who passed away earlier this year at age 78. The home reportedly welcomed a steady stream of boldface names, from fellow Stones member Keith Richards to the famously fun-loving Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth II’s younger sister.

The flat even served as the backdrop for a 1967 photo session with photographer Colin Jones, capturing Jagger in a military-style coat in the entryway. That image now resides in the National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.

Offering nearly 2,500 square feet of space, the residence blends period detailing with contemporary finishes. Highlights include herringbone wood floors, intricate moldings, and a sleek kitchen fitted with bar seating for four. The formal dining room and adjacent reception area open onto a south-facing balcony. Four bedrooms sit in the opposite wing, one outfitted as a media lounge and another configured as a private study. The main suite includes a walk-in closet and a luxe bathroom with dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a separate shower.

“This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of London’s musical past, just minutes from the open greenery of Regent’s Park and the charm of Marylebone’s high street,” said Rosy Khalastchy, director at Beauchamp Estates. “It’s the perfect blend of heritage and contemporary living.”
